Grand Canyon Accommodations Looking for the perfect place to stay but don't know where to start? You can choose from budget to luxury, inside the park or outside. It's easy to find the perfect place to stay for your vacation. Flagstaff has good restaurants and a nightlife, and it's not too far to drive to the park. We've done Flagstaff the first night (after driving from the airport in Phoenix), then driven to the canyon and stayed closer for a night or two. You can hit Flagstaff again on the way out and sample some of that nightlife. All in all Flagstaff makes a good choice for Grand Canyon accommodations. Grand Canyon accommodations available outside the park are the easiest to book on short notice. They range from exclusive pricey resorts to budget motels. You'll find reasonable accommodations choices in Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayun and Sedona (Williams is home to the Grand Canyon Railway Depot).

Lodging within the Grand Canyon National Park includes El Tovar Hotel on the South Rim, Phantom Ranch at the bottom of the canyon and Grand Canyon Lodge on the North Rim. These accommodations are available on a limited basis and are booked up well in advance. El Tovar is expensive, but not all of the places to stay inside the park are high-priced. You will have to make reservations at least 3 to 6 months before your trip, since these are high-demand rooms. You can check availability or make reservations at: |
