Grand Canyon Cabins When you're thinking about Grand Canyon cabins for lodging in the park, try to get one with a view of the canyon. You can do it if you get your reservation in early enough. Of course you also have to know which cabins actually HAVE a view. Most of the cabins you can get don't actually have a view. Of course, they are still within a minute or two of the rim, so you can walk out and see the canyon anytime. But I like hang out in my PJ's, maybe with a glass of wine and somebody to snuggle with. You'd like to still be able to see the scenery. That's the best! So here you go, Grand Canyon cabins with a view: South Rim The absolute primo views are in cabins 6145, 6146 and 6157. Good views can be had in cabins 6151, 6152, 6155, 6158, 6159. These cabins have a partially obstructed view in cabins 6147 (kind of behind Kolb Studio) 6153 and 6154 (view is around a small tree). The Bucky O'Neill cabin also has a view (though a smaller window). I think there are two units available there. Finally, from cabin 6166 you can see a decent view of the canyon across a small parking lot. I don't know what amenities these particular cabins have because I just saw most of them from the outside, but if you want a rustic cabin with a view, ask for one of these The rest of the Grand Canyon cabins are still a great deal, and you may have a view that I didn't notice. Besides, from any south rim cabin you can walk to the rim without even breaking a sweat. Have a great time at the Grand Canyon.
