Grand Canyon Tours
Lots to Choose From!

You can spend a lot of money on Grand Canyon Tours, or you can get by pretty cheap. A bus will take you from Las Vegas for as little as $70 per person. You can also, if so inclined, drop over $3,000 on a full canyon rafting trip.

You might want to choose tours by the time you have available. A horseback ride for an hour or so can be a nice little break. Half-day trip choices are common, whether by helicopter, jeep or raft. Hiking, guided or not, can take up an hour or a month. It's up to you.

How active do you want to be? There are companies that offer guided hiking tours, easy or advanced.

Have you considered a mule ride? This is a great way to see the canyon, even if you have trouble doing much hiking. Sure, you'll be saddle-sore, but you probably won't blow out your knee!

Other options for active vacations include taking a rafting trip, and being part of the crew. You can choose a rafting trip that has you and your fellow passengers doing the paddling (I have descriptions of the some of the boats on my Grand Canyon River Rafting page). A jeep tour, while it may not sound very strenuous, is a far cry from sitting on an air-conditioned bus that stays on fairly level roads.

You may not want to be that active, after all, you're on vacation! Not to worry, Grand Canyon tours are available in a variety of pleasant (and air-conditioned) choices. You know, planes, trains and automobiles (I'm counting helicopters in the planes category :-).

See my links below to get a taste of the Grand Canyon tours that are readily available. See my rafting pages also. But don't forget to check out the Grand Canyon Tours & Travel website.
